HBD to one of our favorite design icons – Jens Risom turns 100 today.
Born and trained in Copenhagen, Risom came to the US in 1939, joined forces with Knoll in 1941 and created a portfolio of exquisite design classics (like the lounge chair seen in this photo, a pair of which were our “gateway drug” into the world of mid-mod furniture).
