Not how you’d describe your typical IKEA collection, but that’s how Katie Eary – the British menswear designer – describes her Giltig collection for IKEA, with its bright colors, large prints and unexpected motifs like screenprinted cats and fish. Her muse for the collab? Johnny Depp’s character in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
It’s the first in a series of designer collabs IKEA is planning, so let’s hope it does well and there are many more.
