All These Wonders

Screen Shot 2017-03-28 at 10.09.31 PMStorytelling is something of a re-discovered art these days; not sure if we can thank marketing for that, or if something else sparked its renaissance, but it’s a good thing, regardless. In All These Wonders by Catherine Burns (forward by Neil Gaiman), a non-profit celebrating the art of storytelling, The Moth, commemorates their twentieth anniversary with a collection of tales from names you’ll know like Tig Notaro and Louis C.K., as well as non-celebrities with highly emotional stories to share.

It’s a good book, and a collection of short reads in a variety of writing styles. Some are hilarious, others are tear-jerkers, and most were life-changing; all are well-told. If you enjoy the art and craft of story-telling, the book is an easy read.
