Chatbots have so much potential to be awesome, for interacting with just about anything. We even deployed one built on Chatfuel for the Civilizr dog, Barclay the Corgi, on Facebook. Admittedly, BarclayBot can’t do much other than ask you for food. And we’ve got a couple of projects in the works, on a couple different platforms, for clients. Those are more robust, of course…
But, we digress. We’re excited to see Amazon bringing the AWS Chatbot Challenge. With Lex and Lambda, Amazon promises “sophisticated natural language processing and almost no operational overhead,” which sounds great, so we’re going to give it a shot. Maybe you should, too. You’ve got until July 18, 2017, so… get at it!
